Applying for a university course should be done as early as possible to ensure a smooth and successful application process. You can start the university application process for Master’s and PhD programmes up to one year before your study programme starts. Although it is possible to start the process a bit later most students need several months up to a year to meet all the entry requirements so we advise you to start the process early. Universities and courses often have varying application. Undergraduate students also have to adhere to strict application deadlines. You can apply for a study place even if you’re still awaiting your final exam results or still have to take an English language exam. Universities can make conditional offers, allowing you to secure a place while you work towards meeting the entry requirements.

To study abroad you need to be able to read, write and speak English very well. You’ll need to prove your competency by taking a recognised and approved English language test such as the Cambridge Advanced, Cambridge Proficiency, IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT or Pearson PTE.

If you’re studying for more than six months you can only bring your dependents in special circumstances provided you obtain a visa for your partner and/or children. If you intend to bring your family with you, let us know as soon as possible as your applications may take a little longer

As long as your course lasts for longer than six months and is an undergraduate or postgraduate course, you are allowed to work up to 16 hours to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time (i.e 40 hours per week) during vacations.
