The terms for using our website and services

1. Who we are

Emir Overseas is a study-abroad consultancy based at HiLITE Business Park, Thondayad, Bypass Road, Kozhikode, Kerala 673014, India. We help students apply to universities in Malaysia and other countries. You can reach us at hello@emiroverseas.com or on WhatsApp.

These terms apply when you use our website, send us an enquiry or use our services. By submitting the enquiry form, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. What we do

• One-to-one counselling on courses, universities and countries.
• Help preparing and submitting your university applications.
• Guidance on your student visa application.
• If you ask us, help arranging travel and accommodation.

3. What our service costs

Many of our services are free for students. Where a service carries a fee, we will tell you the amount and what it covers, and agree the fee and its refund terms with you in writing before the service begins. You will never be charged for something you have not agreed to.

Universities, embassies, airlines and other third parties charge their own fees, such as tuition, visa and travel costs, and you pay those directly.

4. What we do not promise

• Admission, scholarships and visas are decided by universities and government authorities, not by us. We cannot guarantee any outcome.
• We do not help with jobs, part-time work, migration or settlement abroad.
• We are not responsible for a university's teaching, rules, fees or decisions, or for changes they make.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give us complete and accurate information, and tell us if anything changes.
• Provide only genuine documents. We never create, change or prepare documents for you, and we cannot support an application built on false information.
• Make sure you have the funds for your tuition and living costs, with the proof your visa application requires.
• Follow the laws of India and of your destination country, and the rules of your university.

If we discover false information or documents, we may end our services immediately.

6. Applications and university offers

Universities may make conditional offers. Meeting those conditions, such as final marks or English test scores, is your responsibility. Deadlines matter: we will share the dates universities give us, but we cannot act on instructions or documents that reach us too late.

7. Promotions and special offers

If we run a promotion or special offer, it will state its own conditions: who is eligible, how long it runs, what it includes and excludes, and any limits set by universities, airlines or other third parties. An offer is available only while it is running and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. Once you have accepted an offer and we have confirmed it to you in writing, we will honour it on the agreed terms.

8. Using this website

You may browse this website and send us enquiries. Please do not misuse it: no false enquiries, no attempts to disrupt the site, and no copying of its content for commercial use.

9. Your privacy

10. Limits of our liability

We work carefully and in good faith. We are not liable for decisions made by universities, embassies or other authorities, for events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be handled by the courts and authorities that have jurisdiction under Indian law. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have as a consumer under Indian law.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date. The version in force when you submit your enquiry or sign your student declaration applies to that stage of your journey with us.
