These figures are tuition. On top come the visa items and living costs:

EMGS visa items, first year
≈ RM 2,700 – 3,300
Including the 8% tax on EMGS processing and eVAL fees - the e-Visa and any university handling charges are separate
Living costs
RM 1,500 – 2,500 / month
Monash University Malaysia’s published estimates for its campus area
Treat the living figure as one university’s published figures for its area, not a fixed Malaysia-wide cost - your university’s own estimates are the ones to budget from.

How to read the spread.

APU RM 42,000up to Taylor’s RM 54,720up to Heriot-Watt RM 73,935

Price differences reflect the university’s brand, duration and structure - Heriot-Watt’s MBA sits in a different market position from APU’s specialist MBAs. Rankings are one input, not the decision: what matters is whether the programme’s content, duration and network fit your career plan.

Rupee figures use the closing rate of 29 October 2026, RM 1 = Rs 23.4437 (exchangerates.org.uk); rates move, so check when you plan. Universities revise fees every year - the linked official pages are the final word.
